How It Works
Turnout makes concerts happen when enough people reserve tickets before the deadline. You reserve a spot, share it with friends, and if the goal is met, the show is confirmed. You’re only charged if the show is confirmed.
1. We Post a Show
We post a potential show with everything upfront: the artist, venue, date, ticket price and the number of reservations needed to make it happen. Each show runs on a 6-day countdown. If enough people reserve in time, the show happens. If not, no one is charged.
2. You Reserve Your Ticket
Reserving a ticket means you’re in if it happens. You enter your payment info, and a temporary hold is placed on your card. It's not a charge. If the goal is reached before the deadline, your card is charged and your ticket is confirmed. If not, the hold disappears and you’re never charged.
3. Show On or No Charge
When the goal is met, the show’s on. Everyone’s charged and tickets are locked in. If it isn’t, no one is charged, and we move on to the next one. You’ll be the first to know when it drops.
